Is the Government trying to divert the attention of the people from these and other burning issues before the nation by selective leakage to media on some terrorism cases?

The Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Shri. Manmohan Vaidya, told that three issues would be taken up during the two-month campaign. “The Ramjanmabhoomi and Kashmir issues will also be highlighted during the campaign,” he said.

“The RSS will prepare literature on these three issues and its members will undertake a door-to-door campaign, distributing the literature and educating people on these issues,” he said, adding that meetings will also be organized.

Reiterating that the RSS is not involved in any terror-related activities, Vaidya said there are certain forces in the country that are defaming Hindus by linking them to terrorism. “The RSS does not believe in violence and its aim is to work for the society and the nation,” he said.

Asked to comment on the charge sheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against the RSS leader, Indresh Kumar, in connection with the Ajmer blast, Vaidya said Kumar did not run away from the investigations.

“If there is involvement of anyone, it must be probed into and proved. After the charge sheet was filed, all kinds of statements began coming in from different quarters. Whenever the government is in trouble, the RSS has been targeted and defamed,” he said.

On the Ramjanmabhoomi issue, the senior RSS leader said that during the campaign, the thrust would be to highlight its history, the past agitation on the issue and the verdict of the court.
